Joanna Gains Salad with Bacon Dressing


This salad is perfect for anyone who loves bacon. It’s loaded with bold flavors and textures, and it’s easy to customize to your own preferences.

Ingredients: 4 slices bacon, diced


1/4 cup apple cider vinegar 1/4 cup vegetable oil 2 tablespoons honey 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper Salt and black pepper to taste 4 cups chopped kale leaves (6-8 cups if large) 1 red onion, diced 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese Directions:

In a large bowl, combine the bacon, vinegar, oil, honey, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are well combined.

Add the kale leaves and onion and mix again until everything is coated in the dressing. Let sit for at least 20 minutes before serving. SERVES 4
