Photographer Jonathan Lippman has taken some of the most memorable photos during the league’s history, and his latest photo series, “Coldest NBA Photos: coldest pictures ever taken in NBA History,” is no exception.

Lippman’s series showcases some of the most frigid shots from across NBA history, and they are all astonishingly beautiful examples of sports photography.

The harsh temperatures can be quite dangerous for photographers and players alike, but it doesn’t seem to stop them from capturing some incredible images.

Some of Lippman’s most iconic cold-weather photos include a shot of Kyrie Irving shivering on the bench in Cleveland during Game 5 of the 2017 Eastern Conference Finals, and a stunning image of DeAndre Jordan dunking over a frozen hoop in Dallas during the 2016 Western Conference Finals.

NBA players battle the coldest conditions ever during winter games

In the NBA, there is no better time of year to be a fan than during the winter. However, this season has been particularly cold, with several games receiving below-freezing temperatures.

This has caused some players to battle the coldest conditions they have ever experienced during a game. Some players have even resorted to using heating pads and other methods to try and keep warm.

Despite the conditions, most of the players have handled themselves well, playing through the chill and showing their grit in tough contests.

Here are some of the coldest NBA photos that were ever taken:
